First, there is now a discussion list for The Recipe. You can sign up by

I will be adding a feature to my web site this month - you will be able to
order CDs just by clicking on the World Party Music icon on my calendar
page.

I've added Deep Banana Blackout's dates to BSOCMS. If they come to your
area, definitely make an extra effort to catch one of their shows. They

at Hebrew University, Jerusalem confirmed that "kineboisin" (also spelled
Kannabosm) referred to Cannabis used in a holy ointment. See Exodus 30:23.

The Gibb Droll Band has a new disc out called "Gibb Droll". I just
listened to it for the first time and it's great - Get your copy now!
Jazz Mandolin Project has a new album entitled "Tour de Flux" the release
date is January 26th. This new album will feature Jamie Masefield on
Mandolin, Chris Dahlgren on Up-right bass, and Jon Fishman on Drums. You
don't want to miss this one!
The Greyboy Allstars have a new live record entitled "The Greyboy
Allstars-LIVE!". It will be available by mail order and at their shows
only, until February when it will be available in stores nationwide.
On January 12, Grateful Dead Merchandising will release a two-disc
collection of music called "The Strange Remain". It was recorded at The
Other Ones Furthur Festival appearances this past summer.
Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds have a new album called "Live at Luther
College". It was recorded in 1996 and will be available in stores January
19th.

For various reasons, Phish has decided not to include Limestone, Maine for
their 1999 Summer Tour. In other Phish news, the band is reviewing options
for the 1999-2000 New Year's shows. They have an opportunity to play in
Hawaii; however, nothing is confirmed at this time!! The promoter has
applied for a permit but it's still in the works. As soon as there are
any confirmed plans to announce, they will be listed here as well as on
Phish's official web site - http://www.phish.com
There has been a lot of discussion over the past few months about the
status of the Greyboy Allstars. They did not break up as many people have
suspected. Zak Najor (drummer) took a temporary leave of absence from the
band in order to pursue some personal matters. He is finishing with school
and will be back in the band in time for the New Years run in San
Francisco, CA.
January 2nd through the 11th Blues Traveler will be traveling to Japan and
Korea with the United States U.S.O., to perform for our American troops.
This will be a closed show for the American soldiers located in these
countries.
