Dark Star Orchestra "The Black Tie-Dye Ball" (3 CDs/1 DVD). This 3 CD
and 1 DVD set brings you Dark Star Orchestra's performance from The
Park West in Chicago, IL on March 6, 2004. As part of an event
benefiting The Rex Foundation, DSO re-created the Grateful Dead's
beloved 5/8/77 show from Cornell. The spirits were in the air this
night, as DSO lovingly performed one of the defining shows of the

Phil Lesh & Friends "Live At The Warfield" (2 CDs/1 DVD). On May 18th
and 19th 2006, Phil Lesh and Friends electrified The Warfield Theater
in San Francisco, CA with two nights of music that never failed to
satisfy. The venerable theater had been visited many times by Phil
Lesh and Friends, but never by this exact group. Joining Phil are
Joan Osborne, John Scofield, Larry Campbell, Rob Barraco, John Molo
and Greg Osby. This group of assembled Friends combines a strong jazz
background with a touch of blues, a pinch of soul, a good helping of
groove, and just the right amount of jamming to keep the faithful

Michael Franti "I Know I'm Not Alone" (DVD). In 2004 Michael Franti
decided to `walk his talk' and traveled to the war zones of Iraq,
Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories. This wasn't a USO
green zone sponsored visit – Franti and his team organized a trip
that would take him to the core of the red-zoned, war torn
neighborhoods of Baghdad, the West Bank and Gaza Strip armed with
only a guitar, video cameras and the intent to experience first hand
the human cost of war. Throughout his journey he shares his music
with families, doctors, musicians, soldiers and everyday people who
in turn reveal to him the often overlooked human cost of war. Out of
this expedition, Franti has produced and directed a compelling
documentary film titled I Know I'm Not Alone. With its guerrilla-
style footage captured in active war zones, the documentary is unlike
the many academic and politically driven pieces in the marketplace,
instead offering the audience a sense of intimate travel and the
opportunity to hear the voices of everyday people living, creating
and surviving under the harsh conditions of war and occupation. Get

Robert Randolph & The Family Band "Colorblind" (CD). On Colorblind -
the third album from Robert Randolph & The Family Band - Eric
Clapton, Dave Matthews, Leroi Moore, Rashawn Ross, and Leela James
join for a jam-packed, emotion-filled, good-time party mix of funk,
soul, rock, gospel, and blues. This album shows just how much
Randolph has evolved, using his sacred steel background to electrify

salutes one of the most legendary figures in all of music. Jerry's
broad array of side projects and solo albums are represented here,
